Studio Policies

All clients ages 18+ getting a piercing must present a physical, valid, government issued photo ID in order to receive the service requested. If you do not have this when you arrive for your appointment, we will not be able to pierce you.

Minors getting a piercing must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian. Documents required are the minor’s original birth certificate, as well as the parents valid, government issued photo ID with matching information. Additional documentation may be required if information on the birth certificate does not match the parent/legal guardian ID (i.e. marriage certificate, adoption paperwork, name change paperwork, etc). This is a law put forth by the Brookline Board of Health.

We cannot accept a photocopy of any of these documents.

We cannot accept temporary paper MA drivers permits.

We cannot accept military IDs as a form of identification.

At our new, larger location, we are able to accept walk-ins every day from 12pm to 7pm for almost any piercing. We stop accepting walk-ins at 7pm every night but appointments are bookable until 8pm. There are days of the week where there is still only one piercer on so weekday walk-in availability may be somewhat limited. The earlier you arrive, the better! Monday through Thursday, the studio will close for 30 minutes at 3pm so the staff is able to eat lunch. Please note that there are still some piercings that require appointments. We do our best to accommodate clients who arrive late but due to our to our busy schedule, if you are late to your appointment, there will be a late fee applied. If you have an appointment for piercings and are more than 5 minutes late, there will be a $5 late fee applied to the appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, the appointment will need to be rescheduled and there is a $15 rescheduling fee applied.

Jewelry change appointments that are more than 5 minutes late may be asked to wait around other clients or will be asked to reschedule. If you choose to reschedule, there is a $5 rescheduling fee applied to your appointment if it is for 1-3 piercings or a $15 rescheduling fee if it is for 4-8 piercings.

Clients are able to reschedule their appointments through the confirmation email they received when booking. This can be done by the client up until 24 hours before the start of the appointment.

Piercing appointments that need to be rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time are subject to a $15 rescheduling fee, regardless of the appointment length. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the start of the appointment must be done by contacting the studio directly.

Jewelry change appointments for 1-3 piercings that need to be rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time are subject to a $5 rescheduling fee. Jewelry change appointmnts for 4-8 piercings that need to resheduled ithin 24 hours ofthe appointment time are subject to a $15 rescheduling fee.

If you need to cancel an appointment, it must be done by contacting studio staff via phone, email, or text. Appointments that are cancelled within 24 hours of their start time will forfeit their deposit.

If a client no call/no shows their appointment, they will be banned in the online system from making future appointments. If, after a no call/no show incident, a client would still like to book with us, they must come in as a walk-in during our walk-in hours (every day between 12pm until 7pm).
